About your instructor – Paula Apro
Paula is a recent transport to the state of Maine and her new home has inspired a new direction in her photography. Paula’s latest passion involves finding art in everyday objects and sometimes distorting reality to transform these everyday scenes into interesting works of art. She has trained her eye to see things with a new unique perspective and uses her camera as a form of her creative expression. Through the magic of her camera, she manipulates light and color to result in surreal abstract images that look more like paintings than photography.
Paula has been shooting professionally for over a decade. She is the co-founder of the Art Loft in Rockland and runs Maine Photo Adventures, where she offers photographic instruction and workshops.
