Melissa Kelly and Lisa Cohn are the two resident artists for the month of November. For their show, they created work inspired by two words, randomly chosen resulting in the following: “Celebrate Community” and “Manifest Fun“. They found it fascinating to bring their work together for this show to see how two people could have vastly different responses to the same prompt. Melissa and Lisa are art therapists as well as artists. They both love to share their passion for creative expression and believe wholeheartedly in the therapeutic value of the arts to promote self-discovery, improve self-esteem, and promote positive life changes.
Art supplies and words will be available for those who would like to give their process a try.
