Word Art Month… This month we will explore different ways to use words in our art. Some classes will be using words as art and some will incorporate the words within the art, some will be political and some will be just for fun.
Word Play – This class explores the use of our everyday language and how it affects our perception of ourselves. You can bring a laptop to work on using Photoshop or Illustrator or work with our materials in the studio.
Come to any or all of Amy’s Word Art classes.
This class is a drop-in class: free to members and $20 for non-members.
About your leader:
Amy Wilton is a photographer and mixed media artist living in Hope, ME. Always aware of light and its quality, its energy, Amy has the ability to make a connection with the subject and tell a story. Amy loves to teach, whether it’s photography, rowing or anything else, including mixed media. Recognizing her gift of creativity, she uses mixed media to explore and express emotions. It is through this that she has learned to trust herself, her art and her purpose. She has an MFA from Maine Media College and has been a photographer in the Mid Coast area for the past 21 years.
