Watercolor Workshop – Spring Landscape

Spring Landscape – This class will start with a demonstration of a seasonal landscape. Students will be able to choose an image for themselves from a selection of color prints of the same subject, if not of the same image. The goal will be to keep the spring colors fresh and light, using spring greens. You will paint in your own style, anything from realism to wild abstract. The emphasis is to explore a landscape expression.

Mary Ann Heinzen teaches by demonstration and a variety of exercises, designed to explore the delights and potentials of the watercolor.  Beginners are welcome. While basics such as drawing skills, design, and composition are always included; the emphasis will be on enjoying this exciting medium.

The Art Loft provides a limited amount of beginner watercolor materials for your use. However, participants are encouraged to bring their own watercolor supplies if they have some at home.
